There is so much to discover within a short drive from Bucklegrove…

You’ll be spoilt for choice between Wookey Hole with its magical caves and fun filled attractions, the Cathedral City of Wells, Glastonbury Abbey and Tor and Cheddar Gorge, all which are just down the road. There are also many wonderful walks, farmers markets, cider farms and country pubs right on our doorstep.

A little further afield you can explore Weston-super-Mare, Brean Sands and Leisure Park, Longleat Safari Park, Puxton Park and West Country Railway. Bristol, and the World Heritage site of Bath are both within an hour’s drive.

However you choose to spend your day, you can treat yourself to a traditional drop of scrumpy with a chunk of cheddar cheese or a delicious cream tea with clotted cream and strawberries at the end of it. All locally sourced.

Somerset is a land of legend, history and beauty. There really is something for everyone.

Our entertainment programme is all included in your stay. There is a regular line-up of live singers, Bingo, discos, kids' crafts, and even hog roasts.
