Bucklegrove started out as Tea Rooms in the 1940’s and is now the longest established family friendly and family run holiday park in the gorgeous Cheddar Valley.
Owned by the Clarke Family since 1996, we aim to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere for guests to relax and enjoy our stunning corner of the West Country. Our small rural park is bordered by gently rolling open countryside on the edge of the Mendip Hills, a designated 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', offering a perfect base to explore or just sit back and admire the view.
Somerset is a land of legend, history and beauty. There really is something for everyone and there’s plenty to see and do:
Cheddar Gorge & Caves, Wookey Hole, Cathedral City of Wells, Glastonbury Abbey & Tor, wonderful walks, farmers markets, cider farms and country inns right on our doorstep.
Weston-super-Mare & Pier, Brean Sands & Leisure Park, Longleat Safari Park, Farm Parks, Steam Trains, Bristol, World Heritage site of Bath and so much more all easily within an hour's drive.
However you choose to while away your day why not treat yourself to a traditional drop of scrumpy with a chunk of cheddar cheese or a delicious cream tea with clotted cream and strawberries because in our county of contrasts you can have it all.
